Familiar friends

Cape Cottages

I painted these on a trip to Zambia using only a palette knife. It is a good way to get

rid of that bad habit of overpainting or putting in too much detail. However, detail

and I remain close friends it seems…much as I try to break up the friendship and

move on to large uninhibited strokes and splashes!! Sometimes I forget to take a

final photo before it gets sold, so, to all the brilliant photographers out there, my

apologies for the odd bad photo!

Cold, Quiet, a Curve in the road, The trees stand guard

Peace peace

The trees call out, their branches say: enter!
